Maria Antonia Isabella Fernandes

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Maria Antonia Isabella Fernandes (also known to many as Deodita), beloved wife of the late Bernardo Fernandes, beloved mother of Jane and Netty, loving mother-in-law of Imran, and doting grandmother of Laila and Saira. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love and respect by all who knew her for her devotion to her family, her deep faith, warm hospitality, and kindness to anyone in need.
The funeral mass will take place at St Margaret’s & All Saints’ RC Church, 79 Barking Road, London, E16 4HB on Thursday 10 July 2025 at 11am, followed by a burial service at St Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Langthorne Road, London, E11 4HL at 12.30pm.
The family invite you to join us in a celebration of Maria’s life afterwards in St Matthias Community Centre, 113 Poplar High Street, London, E14 0AE (entrance via Woodstock Terrace).
