KEVIN PEREIRA, r.i.p.
I am appealing to your generosity again, as we are trying to raise funds to cover the cost of the funeral arrangements for Kevin Pereira, who was only 45, and passed away in Reading, after battling severe health issues. Sadly, he has not been able to work for the past few years and was living in hostels in Reading.
Kevin was born in Sanguem but grew up and studied in Sanvordem, Curchorem. On arriving in the UK, he lived in Cranford initially but moved to Reading later. I am calling on members of the community, in particular villagers from Sanguem, to help us raise £5,200 for his funeral in the Catholic Church in Greenford and his burial in Chalfont St Peter Cemetery.
As with our previous appeals, we are hoping for a generous response from the large Goan community and many friends living in Reading and elsewhere to help a fellow Goan receive a Catholic funeral.
