Danil Mascarenhas Appeal

In conjunction with the GOAN CHAPLAINCY (London & Swindon)

July 2017

A SPECIAL APPEAL TO HELP A FELLOW GOAN

Dear Friends

We are trying to raise funds to help with the repatriation of Danil Mascarenhas to his widow, Shrine Mascarenhas, in Bangalore, India. Apart from his sorrowful wife, Danil, leaves behind a grieving mother and brother in Raia, Goa. Danil sadly passed away on 20 April 2017 in Wembley, Middlesex.

Our target is to raise £2,100.00 to repatriate Danil as soon as possible and we are working with the Goan Chaplaincy (London & Swindon) to raise the necessary funds to meet this target.

As with our previous appeals, we are hoping for a generous response from members of the community, in particular fellow Villagers from Raia. If you feel inclined to help, then please send your donations by cheque to the above address made payable to the Goan Welfare Society. If you are a taxpayer, please endorse your cheque on the back “gift aid” and give us your address.

Cash & cheque donations may be handed to any Trustee of the Goan Welfare Society (Flavio Gracias, Paul De Mendonca, Norma Menezes-Rahim, Alfred Rebello & Rosy De Souza) or to Fr Patrick De Souza, the Goan Chaplain in London.

You may now make donations via “PayPal” through our website: www.goanwelfaresocietyuk.com

May I convey my sincere thanks in advance for your help and support in assisting us to carry out welfare work within the Goan Community!

God bless

Flavio Gracias
