EU SETTLEMENT SCHEME
If you are an EU (including Portuguese passport holders), EEA or Swiss citizen, who has been resident in the UK since before the 31 December 2020 and do not have permanent right to remain it is important that you are in top of the regulations. You and your family members must have applied for the EU Settlement Scheme to continue legally living in the UK beyond 30 June 2021. We cannot stress how important that complying with this legislation is – please, if you have not yet applied, do so as soon as possible. We do not know how long approval takes, but the sooner you apply to the scheme, the better. If there are problems, you have longer time in which to resolve them.
