AN APPEAL TO HELP A FELLOW GOAN
Dear Friends
I am appealing to your generosity, as we are trying to raise funds to help the family with the cost of cremating the body of Felizardo Da Cunha, who passed away on 1 April 2020 at the Charlotte Care Home in Isleworth from cancer. Felizardo, who comes from Calizor, Moira, Goa, leaves behind a widow & two children and our target is to raise £1,782.00 to defray the cost of the funeral.
As with our previous appeals, we are hoping for a generous response from the Goan Community at large and, in particular the villagers of Moira. If you feel inclined to help, then please send your donations by cheque to the above address made payable to the Goan Welfare Society UK. If you are a taxpayer, please endorse your cheque on the back “gift aid” and give us your address.
Cash & cheque donations may be handed to any Trustee of the Goan Welfare Society (Flavio Gracias, Paul De Mendonca, Norma Menezes-Rahim, Alfred Rebello & Rosy De Souza) or to Fr Patrick De Souza, the Goan Chaplain in London. You may now make donations by “PayPal” through our website: www.goanwelfaresocietyuk.com.
May I convey my sincere thanks in advance for your help and would like to convey our best wishes to all for the summer despite the difficulties brought about by the dreadful Coronavirus.
God bless & keep safe
