We are thrilled to announce that our Chair of Trustees, Flavio Gracias, has been awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the King’s Birthday Honours List. This accolade celebrates his outstanding contributions to the community in Ealing.
In Flavio’s own words, “this recognition from his Majesty is as much part for my community work as it is of all the Trustees and volunteers, who have served with me over the years. I would like to thank you all for the tremendous support I have received from all since I became involved with the Goan Welfare Society UK in 2015 and I look forward to continue working with you serving the community, as part of the charity“.
