REPATRIATION of LINDA FERNANDES
(DoB: 30.8.1965)
Dear Friends
I am appealing once again to your generosity as we are trying to raise funds to repatriate the body of Linda Fernandes back to her family in Santa Cruz, Goa. Linda died suddenly on 8 July 2017 at home, whilst she was waiting for a cab to take to her the airport on her way to Goa. Our target is to raise £2,100.00 and we are working with the Goan Chaplaincy and the Wembley Goan Community to raise this money.
As with our previous appeals, we are hoping for a good response from members of the community and are appealing to the Goans in West London and particularly, villagers from Santa Cruz to help us reach our target. If you feel inclined to help, then please send your donations by cheque to the above address, made payable to the Goan Welfare Society. If you are a taxpayer, please endorse your cheque on the back “gift aid” with your address.
