Eddie D’Sa
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear father, Eddie D’Sa who died peacefully on 26 August 2025 in London, UK at the age of 92.
He was born in Kampala, Uganda, to Napoleon and Colet D’Sa; attended school in Goa then St Xavier’s College in Bombay; he did undergraduate studies at the University of Leicester, UK. He worked as a teacher in Mombasa, Kenya. He was married to Cynthia de Souza (daughter of Amaro and Olinda de Souza). He did his PhD in Manchester, UK and then worked as a university lecturer at Makerere University, Kampala and then at the University of Nairobi, Kenya and finally at the University of Papua New Guinea before retiring to England.
He will be missed by his family, particularly his son, Roland (Wimbledon) and Shirley (Northwood) and all who knew him.
